Four Officers Transported to Local Hospital for Injuries
Marcy, NY – Multiple officers were injured at Marcy Correctional Facility to begin the new year at the hands of three inmates who have served multiple stints in state prison.
The first incident occurred on Thursday, January 5. An officer was escorting an inmate out of a dorm facility after the inmate had been involved in a fight with another inmate. During the escort, the inmate abruptly turned around and struck the officer in the shoulder. FULL PRESS RELEASE
