Assault Alert -Ulster C.F.

During security rounds Officer observed inmate smoking in the shower area.  Officer ordered inmate into a pat frisk position, the inmate complied.  During the pat frisk the inmate used his hands and body weight to push off the wall backwards towards the Officer hitting the Officer in the chest.  Officer used body holds to subdue the inmate.  Inmate stopped resisting and complied.  Responding Officer applied mechanical restraints.  Inmate was assisted to his feet and escorted to medical for evaluation and then escorted to SHU without incident.
