Assault Alert – Upstate C.F.

Officers were attempting to remove inmate for a medical callout.  Once mechanical restraints were applied the inmate thrust his hands forward through the cell door hatch and struck the Officer in the chest.  Body holds were used to maintain control of the inmate while the restraints were removed and cell hatch was secured with no further incident.
