Drugs, Weapons Recovered by Staff
Rome, NY – During the last week of August and first two weeks of September, five inmate on inmate fights occurred at the facility which resulted in two inmates needing treatment at a local hospital for their injuries at the medium security correctional facility.
In addition to the violence, staff recovered drugs and make-shift weapons and one visitor was arrested for attempting to smuggle marijuana into an inmate during visitation hours. FULL PRESS RELEASE
