Assault Alert – Sullivan CF

I/M was escorted onto the CAR Unit with waist chain and mechanical hand restraints from the medical unit. CO’s were escorting the I/M up the stairs when the I/M began to push the CO’s backwards and resist the move. At this point force became necessary as CO’s used body holds to force I/M back into his cell. Once in cell I/M became combative striking  CO’s with his elbows and kicks. I/M was forced face first to the floor by CO’s,  I/M refused multiple direct orders to stop resisting. CO applied one application of pepper spray and I/M became compliant.
