Drugs, Weapons Recovered by Staff, Visitor Arrested
Rome, NY – As record violence continues in state correctional facilities, Mohawk Correctional Facility continues to be plagued with inmate on inmate violence, cuttings and drugs at the medium security prison.
Towards the latter part of last summer and early fall, there were another eight inmate on inmate fights, two weapons seized, drugs confiscated from three inmates and one visitor and six inmates who sustained cuttings at the hand of other inmates with unknown weapons. FULL PRESS RELEASE
