CO was conducting a random pat frisk of I/M at B/C Corridor. During the pat frisk the I/M turned around and struck CO in the face with a closed fist. Response was initiated. Responding CO’s were immediately on the scene. CO’s used multiple applications of OC Pepper Spray to gain control of the I/M. The desired effect was achieved and the I/M became compliant. The I/M was then moved to the secure housing unit.
