Assault Alert – Mid-Hudson PC

Upon arrival for Tour I, SHTA staff noticed Pt was refusing to wake up for breakfast movement and needed to be redirected multiple times. SHTA staff made efforts to redirect. Pt then jumped from his bed and punched SHTA in the face. A brief manual restraint ensued but Pt continued to struggle causing eminent danger to himself and others. He continued his violent struggle kicking another SHTA and punching another. He was finally contained and restrained. Medical notified and responded.
