Paul Alexander, an off-duty state Corrections Officer at Sing Sing CF, scared off a group of armed assailants who attacked and stabbed an 18 year old man as he worked in front of a Brooklyn tire shop. The teen was changing a tire in front of Monday Tire Shop on East New York Ave. at Schenectady Ave. in Crown Heights when at least three men jumped him and stabbed him in the back around 6:30 p.m. The brutal assault was stymied by Corrections Officer Alexander who happened to see the attack and shot his gun in the air, the police sources said.
