Craig Downing is a retired Sergeant of DOCCS and former NYSCOPBA member. His daughter-in-law, Jana Downing, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer a year and a half ago. She underwent surgery on her Colon and followed up with chemotherapy, unfortunately scans showed it had spread to her lungs, so in November she had open lung surgery . She will probably have 2 more thoracic surgeries as well.
