Assault Alert – Cape Vincent CF

During an SHU admission , I/M came off the wall, punched CO in the right eye, then elbowed another CO in the left side of face. Sgt and another CO attempted to gain control of the I/M and all three went to the floor. I/M continued to struggle and a response was called. Officers were able to gain control of I/M utilizing body holds and applied mechanical restraints. CO suffered two lacerations to eyebrow requiring seven stitches, other CO suffered a contusion to his right eye. Both CO’s did not return to duty.
