Assault Alert – Creedmoor PC

On 12-13-18 at 1650 hours , at Creedmoor PC Building #40. A Safety and Security Officer 2 was assaulted by an outpatient/resident who was being sent to the local hospital for Psychiatric evaluation. SSO2 and an SSO1 was preventing the resident from leaving the building, when the resident in an aggressive manner lunged at and punched the SSO2 on the left side of the face. Several Safety and Security Officers took the resident down to the ground, restrained the resident and placed temporary restraints on the resident. The SSO2 sustained swelling and was bleeding from the bottom lip.
