While escorting his housing unit to the afternoon chow the CO ordered the I/M to submit to a random pat frisk before entering the Mess Hall. The I/M refused to comply and punched the CO on the left side of his face. The Officer then grabbed the I/M in an upper body hold in an attempt to force the I/M to the ground. I/M resisted. The area Sergeant arrived and gave multiple orders to the I/M to stop resisting. The I/M refused. The Sergeant applied OC spray to the I/M’s facial area with the desire defect. The I/M became compliant.
