Assault Alert – Great Meadow CF

Inmate kicked a floor weight scale toward CO, striking him in the right foot, then spit on him, striking him in the shoulder. Body holds were used , forcing I/M face first to the floor. A spit net was applied. I/M was placed on a stretcher for escort back to his cell, due to non-compliance with orders to move. As he was being secured to the stretcher , I/M elbowed CO in the left shoulder, and grabbed him around his hands and arms, squeezing and twisting them. I/M also grabbed CO’s right hand and pulled his index finger rearward dislodging his body hold. I/M then kicked CO striking his arms and hands. I/M bit through his spit net and spit in CO’s face and another CO’s neck. All staff maintained their body holds until I/M was secured to the stretcher and became compliant.
