Assault Alert – Marcy Correctional Facility

Inmate was re-assigned to observation cell and while being processed for special watch, inmate turned away from wall and attempted to fight with and attack staff.  One Officer suffered a hand injury during restraint requiring outside medical.  A second responding Officer required outside medical for a respiratory issue and the third responding Officer remained on duty.
