Assault Alert – Mid-State CF

CO was escorting I/M from OMH strip frisk area to 27 OBS cell. CO opened the cell door and gave I/M direction to enter the cell. I/M turned kicking his left leg out and struck CO in his right leg and spit in CO’s face which entered his mouth, nose and eyes. CO used body holds with both hands to I/M’s front torso area and used his body weight to force the I/M into his cell and secured the cell door. All force ceased and area Supervisor was notified.
