Officer was securing inmate in mechanical restraints for transfer out of facility.  Once restraints were applied to one wrist inmate pulled his arms back and swung at the Officer.  Officer was able to avoid being struck.  Code 1 was called and responding Officers used body holds to subdue inmate, during which the inmate was ordered several times to stop resisting.  Inmate refused to comply with orders until mechanical restraints were applied. Inmate was transferred to clinic for pre-existing wound.
