During SHU feed up I/M refused his meal. CO removed the tray and put it back on the feed up cart. As CO attempted to close the hatch, I/M struck the CO with his arm and prevented the CO from closing the hatch. I/M then pushed feed up tray out of hatch striking the CO. Response called and hatch secured.
