Assault Alert – Upstate C.F.

Officer was picking up feed trays and ordered inmate to hand out his feed tray.  The inmate has a permanent fixed hatch on his cell and when hatch was opened the Inmate dipped his Styrofoam cup in the toilet and propelled the liquid into the fixed hatch cover.  The liquid which smelled strongly of urine sprayed out of the hatch striking the Officer on his back, arm and leg.  Officer was seen by medical and remained on duty.  A cell search was conducted
