CO escorted I/M to hearing office. Once CO and I/M entered the room ,I/M immediately began throwing closed fist punches at another I/M inside the office. CO gave verbal to cease fighting and the I/M’s refused. CO stepped in between the two I/M’s in an attempt to end the situation. CO used body holds to gain control of I/M who resisted in an attempt to continue fighting with the other I/M. CO was struck numerous times in the head and upper torso with closed fists by the I/M. Another CO responding used body holds to force the combative I/M out of the hearing room. The I/M continued to resist and tried to get back into the hearing room. CO used two baton strikes to the back of the I/M’s thigh to gain control. Another CO used his body weight and body holds to bring the I/M to the ground. Two CO’s were able to get mechanical restraints applied to the struggling I/M , at that time all force ceased.
