Drugs Seized From Multiple Packages at Groveland Correctional Facility
Sonyea, NY – NYSCOPBA continues to call for DOCCs to reinstate the Secure Vendor Program after officers seized drugs in a variety of inmate packages mailed to Groveland Correctional Facility.
On five occasions since the end of December, officers have seized Subxone, marijuana and synthetic marijuana hidden in food packages and personal items mailed to inmates at the medium security prison. FULL PRESS RELEASE
