One Officer Transported to Local Hospital for Treatment
Stormville, NY – Four officers were injured at Green Haven Correctional Facility when a 37 year old inmate attacked one officer and injured three others who attempted to subdue him when he remained combative after the initial assault.
On Thursday, June 20, the inmate was observed walking towards one officer, acting strange and mumbling. The officer and a second officer began to walk towards the inmate. When the officers got in range, the inmate suddenly punched one of the officers in the face. FULL PRESS RELEASE
