Sustains Multiple Injuries and Transported to Hospital after other Inmates Join in the Attack
Ossining , NY –A 31-year-old convicted murdered viciously attacked an officer in a cell block inside of Sing Sing Correctional Facility last week, sending the officer to Westchester Medical Center for head injuries after three other inmates joined in the attack.
The attacked occurred on Wednesday, December 11. The officer was supervising inmates coming back from the mess hall and observed the inmate loitering outside his cell. The officer ordered the inmate to lock into his cell and he refused. FULL PRESS RELEASE
