Inmate Violence Continues to Plague Prison
Rome, NY – Inmate on inmate violence continues at a rapid rate at the medium security correctional facility and prisons across the state as a staggering number of assaults on inmates and staff continue at historical rates in 2024.
At the current pace, inmate on inmate assaults will rise by fifty percent from 2023 and threaten to exceed 3000 assaults in 2024. Inmate on staff assaults will rise by thirty percent from the previous year. FULL PRESS RELEASE
