Inmate Previously Convicted of Murder Used Sharpened Metal Tube During Unprovoked Attack
Attica, NY – An officer was repeatedly stabbed in the upper chest with a sharpened knife-like weapon by an incarcerated individual who was previously convicted of murder.
On the morning of Friday October 8, an officer assigned to D Block let an inmate out of his cell to receive his medication. As the inmate exited his cell, he suddenly grabbed the officer’s arm and repeatedly stabbed the officer multiple times with a sharp metal object. FULL PRESS RELEASE
