Joe Miano, Western Region VP presented a check to Pembroke High School for $2500 during their annual “Cancer for a Cure” girls basketball game. The game was organized eight years ago by a former player in honor of the girl’s basketball coach and his wife, both cancer survivors. NYSCOPBA’s donation contributed to the $28,000 raised during the game. Great job by everyone involved.
