Over a Dozen Serious Incidents in Just Over a Two-Week Span Reported at the Medium-Security Facility
Marcy, NY – Over the past two-and-a-half-weeks, fifteen serious incidents which included: officers assaulted, inmate fights, dangerous weapons discovered, and unrulily behavior were reported at Mid-State Correctional Facility in Marcy. These incidents are among hundreds of others across the State this year and follow the same trend of increased violence in New York’s correctional facilities since the enactment of the HALT Act.
