Two Officers Injured by Inmates, Multiple Weapons Recovered Inside Facility
Coxsackie, NY – The month of June saw an escalation in violence at the medium security facility with two officers being injured by two inmates, multiple inmate on inmate fights that resulted in three inmates being cut with weapons and contraband recovered at the prison.
During approximately a month period, eleven inmate on inmate fights occurred, with three inmates being cut to their face with make-shift weapons , three assaults on staff, eleven weapons recovered as well as drugs recovered from an inmate’s cube and a visitor at the facility. FULL PRESS RELEASE
